Welcome
This website is a class project created by students in the Department of English and Cultural Studies and the Gender Studies and Feminist Research Program at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. During class trips to The Arquives: Canada’s LGBTQ2+ Archives (formerly the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives) in Toronto, we began looking at artefacts documenting histories of LGBTQ2+ violence and resistance to violence. On our blog, we share, analyze and reflect on some of what we found.
